Cabin

A cabin is generally referred to a small house usually with a wooden exterior found in a remote area. It may also refer to a log cabin which is a small house made of logs or built with the help of logs. A beach cabin, as the name suggests, is a cabin built on the beach. A cabin may also refer to a room used for official purposes, such as an office cabin. There are a few transportation cabins as well. An enclosed room on a ship is called a cabin. Similarly, an enclosed room on an airplane is called an aircraft cabin.

Some other examples of cabins include office cabin, living cabin, mobile office and portable cabin. An office cabin is a room which is usually used for official or business purposes. An office cabin is usually used by employers, employees, administrative people, people working in companies and other commercial sectors. A living cabin is a usually a cabin used for a temporary period of time for the purpose of holiday or vacation trips. There are a variety of living cabins simply made for the purpose of satisfaction during a vacation. A mobile office is an office or cabin which is built inside a truck, trailer, motor home or a shipping container built for a purpose. Mobile offices are usually found on sites where construction is taking place or at disaster scenes where momentary office spaces are required. Other uses of mobile offices include workplace for sales persons or even working away from the office of the company. A portable cabin is a cabin normally for temporary use, which is easy to assemble, dismantle and move from one location to another. Portable cabins, also called demountable or modular buildings, are intended to be able to move and are not located permanently in one place.
